UPDATE: I increase the one star to two stars since pCloud has at least taken notice of my case and is taking some action. Therefore, think twice before signing in for "convenient" lifetime accounts. pClould might label lifetime accounts holders as non-profitable, after the deal is done, and terminates accounts for dubious reasons. This whole issue makes you wonder if pCloud is aiming to get rid of customers with lifetime accounts. Meanwhile, all data remain inaccessible, and the saga is to be continued. Eventually, after one long day of waiting, I was told their tech team would look into my case, but that this could "take up to a month" until receiving further information. I read that on all clouds, robots are scanning uploaded content for illegal or harmful material at the clouds' owner's discretion and to their subjective interpretation. Given that I am not aware of any wrongdoing (let alone being a "terrorist" or into "child pornography" as they are alluding to), I asked if they can provide any evidence. However, they could not tell further details "for security reasons".
Upon contacting the support line via email, I was at some point informed that my account was "terminated for violating their T&C". After two years of use, pCloud has suddenly stopped working. PCloud = SCAM? I own and have upgraded a lifetime account with pCloud. PCloud = SCAM? Lifetime account suddenly "terminated"
